Karol Dyess and Nathan Young
A couple of familiar faces get the entertainment off and rolling Saturday of the Real. Texas. Festival. presented by Dodge when Rodeo City Music Hall performers Karol Dyess and Nathan Young take the stage at noon.
Karol manages the Mesquite icon known as Rodeo City Music Hall – which has a history of being somewhat of a launching pad for Country music artists such as Steve Holy.
Karol has managed the venue and produced the shows for the past seven years, even finding the time to perform frequently on the music hall stage.
She performed in Branson, Mo., and Nashville with classic Country artists such as David Frizzell and will be performing with Bill Anderson on the Rodeo City Music Hall stage in June.
She has released two CDs to date … a Gospel recording and an album of Country cover songs.
She is in production on her third CD – an album of all original songs, and she will share the stage with one of her protégés, Nathan Young.
Nathan is a 21-year-old college student and has been a regular performer at Rodeo City Music Hall for about a year.
Noon, Saturday, April 26, 2008, Dodge Real. Texas. Music. Stage.
